Sometimes it is easy to be happy. More often it is not.
But we can create our own happiness, and this is what we’ll talk about here. We’ll talk about what to consider when creating happiness in different ways. What to consider when creating our lives.

This is a blog about positivity, about making the best of life, about being happy and making the world around us better and happier. Not just people that surround us, but the ones that cross our path. Not just people but every living thing. This is about spreading positivity everywhere you go. Not an easy thing to do. But we can do it. And we will do it.

We’ll talk about implementing new things and new routines in our lives but most important of all, a new attitude, a positive and optimistic attitude that makes us better and happier.
This is not a place for negativity, negative thinking, writing, or doing, this is all about staying positive no matter what, even when it’s difficult and often, it is.

I always wanted to leave a world at least a little better place than I found it, so this is a part of my journey, and I hope you will join me.
We’ll do a lot of research, we’ll read, and we’ll listen as much as we can, and we’ll try to inspire each other to be the best version of ourselves. The journey is never over and that may actually be the best part because it means we’ll always keep moving forward, we’ll keep learning, and we’ll keep creating happiness.

There is one thing I will ask of you at this very beginning, maybe the most important thing, and that is to keep an open mind. Allow yourself to explore the options and choose those that are best for you. We are similar but not the same, so what works for me, might not work for you and vice versa, but the great thing about happiness is that it comes in many different forms. All you have to do is keep an open mind so that you can find your way and then make it a part of your lifestyle. Not easy, but definitely worth it.

And there will be ups and downs on this journey of ours, because life is full of ups and downs, but it is all about how we perceive them. We must not let the bad times keep us down just like we must not oversee the good ones. We must not miss the present because we’re chasing the future or dwelling on the past. Of course, we will think about our future and about our past but only to learn from it and to strive for the better, to set our goals and enrich our lives. We will also not aim for perfection, there is no such thing. Trying to be perfect, to do everything right only makes us crazy and unhappy because we are reaching for something that doesn’t exist. Perfection lies in happiness, in love, in a smile.

My opinions are not expert opinions, I want to be very clear about that, my opinions are based on everyday life, experience, not just mine but people around me. They are based on what I have heard, what I have seen, what I have read about. Take it or don’t, I do not aim to pressure but to give some humble guidance. What I’ve learned through the years is that people enjoy talking to me, even listen to what I have to say, they appreciate my input and often tell me how much I’ve helped them. But helping others is much easier than helping yourself so when I finally got the courage to embark on this journey of being a happier, healthier, better person, a whole new world opened up to me and this is the world I want to open up to you. There are so many ways to be happy, so many simple things (and some not so much), and we do not see their importance, we go through life seeking something grand when it’s the little things, the everyday life that matters. It is what makes us better so that we can make the world better. So that we can be happy.
